APUSH >>> In observance and respect for Veterans' Day this Wednesday, we are going to spend today looking at the holiday and it's significance in each of our lives!
In Flanders Field is a poem written in remembrance of soldiers who perished on European fronts in World War I.
On the bottom/back of your copy of In Flanders Field, answer the following questions.
1) When and why was Veterans' Day established? What was the day originally recognizing? 
2) Why do you believe Veterans' Day is observed in our nation every year as a National holiday?
3) Summarize each stanza. (Total of three stanzas)
